I am a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in Barcelona, Spain. In my research, I study anomalous transport of solutes in heterogeneous media via both numerical and theoretical methods. In particular, the subject of my doctoral project is upscaling global models for non-Fickian transport in pore-scale and Darcy-scale heterogeneous media. This thesis work is part of the the European Research Council (ERC) project “Mixing in Heterogeneous Media Across Spatial and Temporal Scales: From Local Non-Equilibrium to Anomalous Chemical Transport and Dynamic Uncertainty” (MHetScale).
